Colour Ways: Journeys across continents
Immerse yourself in the spirit of Kathryn’s travels through the visual and audible imagery of this exhibition.
With the theme of colour and pattern the exhibits connect continents from Southern Europe, South East Asia and the Americas. The aim is to capture the essence of these countries – the diversity and similarities of cultures conveyed in painting, textiles, collage, print, pottery, installations and sculptures.
Immerse yourself in the colours, sounds, textures and spirit of Kathryn’s travels.
This exhibition culminates three decades of travels documented in painted diaries. There are painting, prints and collages portraying landscapes and architecture from France, Italy, Spain, mainland Greece and islands of Skiathos and Crete, Cyprus, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

As you traverse the exhibition you will discover pottery and baskets inspired by locations in India and Turkey. Garments, scarves, rugs and tapestries are a direct response to the textures and patterns of Nepal, Mexico and Cuba.
